In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, the latest Souls-like action RPG from 505 Games, Red Mercury is the game's main currency, meaning if you want to buy stuff and level up your character, you'll have to gather as much of it as possible.
As you progress through the game, you'll gain Red Mercury naturally from killing enemies or finding special items that contain this material (a usual Souls-like mechanic), but if, at some point in the game, you feel stuck and the bosses are just too strong for you, then you must make your character stronger by finding a good location and starting to farm Red Mercury to level up.
If you're facing such problems a bit later in the game, we found a perfect location for you, where you'll be able to farm a really huge amount of Red Mercury in a matter of minutes. So without further ado, let's jump into it.
Late-game Red Mercury farm location in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
We must inform you that this guide contains story spoilers, so if you don't want to spoil the story for yourself, consider yourself informed. The spoilers are not too big; they only contain the late-game location, but the spoilers are here nonetheless, so don't say we didn't warn you.
After beating the Fierce Tiger boss and speaking with the Storyteller NPC, he will inform you that going further will change things for you, meaning if you proceed, some early-game locations will be off-limits. Going forward will take you into the new version of Warship's Rise, where you'll meet a lot of new enemies and bosses.
One of those bosses, Bo Magus, awaits you at the Palace Underground location, and just before this boss, your Red Mercury farm awaits. The shrine before Bo Magus is called Palace Entrance, and you can reach it if you follow the right path from the Shu Sanctum shrine. Just go upstairs, go to the right, and around halfway up the hill, turn right and go downstairs. This path will eventually lead you to the Palace Entrance shrine.
Once there, you'll have three different paths: one leading up the hill where you came from, one down the hill and into the tower that leads to the Bo Magus boss, and one behind the shrine up the red plant that leads to the mini boss—this one path will be our Red Mercury farm location.
Enter the dream in the shrine and invoke madness to the max because the madness here will give you an extra 4K of Red Mercury. Once you cross over the red plant, you'll come to a bigger arena with the winged mini-boss hidden in the ground—two wings peeking from the ground will give up his location.
Imbue your sword with fire and approach the mini-boss from the right side. He will emerge to the left. Lock onto him and hit him three to four times, then dodge twice to avoid being hit. He is quite easy to beat, and once you do, he will give up 20K of Red Mercury, and if you're fully maddened, then 24K is your price. If your madness falls down, simply invoke it in the shrine.
Provided you're around level 80-90 in this section of the game, around 50K is enough for one level, meaning two to three runs will be more than enough for one level. Sometimes the mini-boss will drop the Blood of Wangdi item, which contains 10K of Red Mercury. Doing this farm will level you up pretty quickly, so the bosses won't be as impossible as earlier, because the late-game bosses are just insane in this game.
