Diablo 4 noob friendly classes: Which class is the best for beginners?
Diablo 4 should be a great starting point if you never played Diablo games before
Diablo 4 should be a great starting point if you never played Diablo games before

Diablo 4 should be a great starting point for gamers who never played a Diablo game before so here are some details on the game's classes to help you choose the one that won't be too overwhelming.

Diablo 4 is almost upon us and if you never played a Diablo game before but want to at least give it a try with Diablo 4, chances are you probably have some questions about the classes and which one you should choose.

Diablo 4 features a total of five classes including Necromancer, Sorcerer, Barbarian, Druid and Rogue. Below, you'll find our recommendations for your starting class but keep in mind, these are just our personal thoughts after playing the Diablo 4 open beta.

We certainly encourage you to make the decision on your own, as it will be you who plays this action RPG from Blizzard.

How to choose your class in Diablo 4?

Simply put, you shouldn't spend a lot of time thinking about this at all. If Barbarian is the one that looks like your thing, go for it. If ranged combat is something that you prefer more, there's Necromancer or Sorcerer.

We encourage you to try all these classes and go with the one that you like. All classes have their own strengths and weaknesses and there's certainly no such thing as the best class overall. Early in the game, all classes should be fairly easy to level up.

Best Diablo 4 classes for beginners

Our advice is to go with the class that looks the best to you and it's thematically the closest to your taste. But, if you're still undecided, we suggest you go with Necromancer and focus on a Pet build.

This is pretty much one of the easiest builds early in the game as you can send your minions to action while you focus on casting dark magic from afar. We have tested the Necromancer class with this build in the open beta and found that it is one of the easiest to get into.

Not only that Necromancer is one of the best beginner classes in Diablo 4, it also looks incredibly cool

If summoning dead is not your thing, go for the Sorcerer class, which is one of the most popular classes in Diablo 4. This class offers a ton of spells for various builds so you'll definitely find something that fits your playstyle here.

Necromancer and Sorcerer are the two classes that we recommend if you're just starting with the Diablo franchise. However, you may find that some other class like Druid looks and plays cooler and that's perfectly fine. You should try all classes and go with the one that feels the best.
