Xur is bringing one of the most useful Kinetic Exotics this week as it's good for all classes and Destiny 2 players can find very good armour pieces for Titan and Hunter.
Xur's location on February 26, 2021
You can find Xur in Watcher's Grave on Nessus this week. This map was altered once again since the introduction of the Battlegrounds but you will be staring at Xur's position as soon as you spawn on the waypoint. He is located on the giant tree straight ahead of you, as pictured below.
Xur's weapon and armour on February 26, 2021
Monte Carlo is the weapon we're getting this week. The 600 RPM auto rifle is formidable in duels but excels when you need a quick recharge of the melee ability, making it the Titan favourite. With Stasis around, you can use this weapon to quickly recharge your freezing abilities, making it a monster in 6v6 PvP modes but people don't seem to have caught up on it yet.
Titans can pick up Antaeus Wards from Xur, one of the better PvP items, thanks to the shotgun meta. You can slide with these into a shotgun duel and the damage from the opposing Guardian will be deflected, leaving you to pick up an easy kill. Dunemarchers are the most popular Exotic armour for the crayon crew thanks to increased mobility but Behemoths can employ the inherent slide increase to make everyone's life miserable while wearing Antaeus.
Hunters can get Frosties (FR0St-EE5), the little brother of Stompies. While Frosties don't offer a permanent mobility increase, sprint speed will be buffed after dodging, which is a frequent occurrence with Hunters. The positive side is that this is a battery Exotic, which will increase the regen speed of the grenade, melee and dodge itself. Overall, it's good in both PvE and PvP, especially because it's another universal Exotic that doesn't rely on any specific talent tree.
Warlocks are probably getting the least popular Exotic among the three this week. Vesper of Radius is great for clearing large groups of minor enemies in PvE since it will cause the Rift to explode, dealing AoE Arc damage. It would be good in PvP as well, coupled with Stasis, since you could jump into whole teams, freeze and pretty much kill all of them in a single burst, had it not been for those pesky shotguns. The way the meta is currently, you will just get killed before getting close enough to damage or freeze anyone with the Rift.
