Larian Studios inadvertently baited players into looking for Mol across the Shadow Cursed Lands after the attack on Last Light Inn since the other Tiefling children come together and talk about finding her.
You can pick the quest from them to find her yourself but she will prove extremely hard to find and one might even say - impossible.
This is actually true because you will no longer see her in Act 2 of Baldur's Gate 3. Bear in mind that you might run into mild spoilers for Act 3 below.
The next time you get to see Mol is in Act 3 in The Guild's headquarters.
She is already getting the kids there into working for her, which is her usually modus operandi but you will notice one difference - she has been healed. There are no longer any bandages on her face, no burn marks and her eye has healed completely.
This may look strange and she will avoid talking about it.
You will find your answers further down the line, if you decide to visit Rafael's domain and rob him. This will result in a confrontation with the devil where you are forced to kill him.
In the meantime, you will find Mol's contract with him while looting the place.
You can inform her of the developments and give her the contract back but she will be pissed at you. As it turns out, Mol made a deal with Raphael who became her patron and now she won't get the powers she was willing to trade her soul for.
