Baldur's Gate 3 has quite a few romance options and meeting a charming Cleric will likely pop the question in their minds.

Baldur's Gate 3 players will first meet Isobel in the Shadow-Cursed Lands when they come to attempt to lift the curse itself and find treatment for the tadpole in their noggin.

Upon meeting her in the Last Light Inn, Isobel will provide the party with a protection spell that will allow them to travel the lands without having a torch equipped.

With her pleasant demeanour and a cool design, many will wonder whether she is a romanceable character. Needless to say, the full explanation will involve story spoilers for Acts 2 and 3 so you might want to think twice before reading after the answer below.

Is Isobel romanceable in Baldur's Gate 3?

No, she is not. She is in fact already taken and when you figure out who her paramour is, you will also know it is kind of hard to compete with that bond.

Be warned again, heavy story spoilers are coming after the next image.

Who is Isobel's romantic interest in Baldur's Gate 3?

Isobel is a devoted follower of Selune, perhaps even more than your usual Selunite cleric and one of the reasons is probably because she is dating the deity's daughter.

Relationships between deities and mortals are still somewhat uncommon in Baldur's Gate 3 but this is not even the first one you run into, provided you recruited Gale beforehand. That guy definitely one-upped Isobel in that aspect but if you want to date him, he is open to it.
