Shar's trials in the gauntlet will give a pause to many Baldur's Gate 3 players and the Faith Leap one is probably going to cause the most headaches.
The reason is that you don't actually see what you are doing as the path will disappear as you get closer to it. Therefore, many players will attempt to memorise the path which will lead to many failures and possibly frustration.
Ideally, you would have a map that would help you move correctly without falling off the path. Thankfully, there is one but it's somewhat easy to miss.
Faith Leap trial map in Baldur's Gate 3
The best part about the map is that it's right there in the trial, on the platform where you start. If you missed it, here is an image so you can follow it on your second screen. Otherwise, it's much better to follow the map in the game than to constantly Alt-Tab.
Change your perspective
In order to get a better orientation between the map and your character's position in the chamber, I would highly suggest switching to Tactical View, which can be done with a push of a button. It is bound to the "O" key on the PC by default.
This will switch the game to a top-down perspective so you can translate the map to your movements more easily.
