Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes is an open-world game with dynamic day and night cycles because Pandora definitely isn't the same place during the day and night; everyone who saw at least one movie from the Avatar series knows that first-hand.
Sometimes, some quests will require you to visit certain places during specific times of day, and to prevent tedious waiting for the time to change on your own, you'll be able to advance time yourself to speed up the process.

How to advance time in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes
You should know that in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes, you won't be able to tell specific time, only the periods of the day, like dawn, midday, evening, or night, and if it is, for example, the nighttime, you'll be able to advance the time to the dawn, or if it is midday, you'll be able to advance time to the evening.
You'll be able to advance time in two places: So'lek's camp and any other camp discovered in the world that features a campfire.
If you want to advance time in So'lek's camp, fast travel there by opening the map and pressing and holding the square button. From the place you spawn, descend to a lower level, then continue a bit uphill until you reach So'lek's Hammock. Here you can rest, and the time will advance.
From all other camps, you can advance time from the campfire. Every camp you can advance time from is marked with a small flame-like icon, and once you hover your cursor over this icon, the text will pop up, informing you that this location allows the Pass Time option.
