Within Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft's latest action-adventure, you'll encounter a plethora of collectibles, each serving various functions and providing distinct benefits to your character.
Exclusive to the final accessible area in the game, the Clouded Forest, are Budding Watchers—sizable, mushroom-like structures that may be perplexing when initially encountered, as their purpose is not immediately apparent.
For insights on how to activate these structures and the benefits they offer, refer to our guide, which provides answers to these questions.
What to do with Budding Watchers
Similar to all other collectibles, these items are indicated by a purple dot on the map. Therefore, careful exploration of the map will lead you to them. When you encounter a Budding Watcher, observe the small fungi emerging from the base of the structure, creating a path away from the Budding Watcher; there are usually four of these small fungi paths.
Follow each path, and it will lead you to smaller versions of budding watchers. Activate each small watcher mushroom, and the Budding Watcher structure will open, revealing the path inside of it.
Enter the structure and pick up the loot hidden inside. While this loot can vary, it is always very useful and often rare crafting or cooking materials left by the other Na'vi for the fellow adventurers who dare to explore the deeps of Pandora jungles.
