As an extraction shooter, looting and crafting with materials is a major part of ARC Raiders' progression. After collecting rare items for levelling up, you need to collect certain items for the next expedition project.
The progression wipe system in Arc Raiders is known as "The Expedition Project". In the full game, players will have access to a feature called “Projects”. At level 20, the first major project players will have access to is the Expedition Project.
One of these items is Light Bulbs, which are a requirement for completing the certain phases of the expedition projects 1 and 2. If you're struggling to find Light Bulbs, then here's a quick guide on where you should look.
How to Find Light Bulbs in ARC Raiders
Light Bulbs fall in the Electrical item category. Naturally, you have a major probability of finding Light Bulbs in any place marked with Electrical tag. Here are some of the places marked with the Electrical tag:
- Pilgrim's Peak in Blue Gate
- Electrical Substation and Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds
From almost 600 hours of gameplay in ARC Raiders, I have rounded up a few guaranteed spawn spots for lightbulbs. The two guaranteed spots for light bulbs in Dam Battlegrounds. There's a x2 light bulb spawn in the hood of the white car near the Power Generation extract and x1 in the field depot near Power Generation Complex. Here are the locations marked on the map:
The traffic tunnels and Checkpoint has a lot of cars with lootable hoods. Just make 2-3 runs in that route, and you'll end up with Light Bulbs somehow. Another thing you can focus on is making looting runs in the Residential areas of different maps, as they have a certain chance of dropping Light Bulbs.
