According to CDPR lead quest designer Pawel Sasko, Cyberpunk 2077 will have three different playable prologues depending on players' starting choices. Sasko said that each lifepath - Nomad, Street Kid, Corpo - has a different prologue.

Ever since we got the official release date on E3 2019, Cyberpunk 2077 has been a major talking point on various gaming forums and social media. CD Projekt Red revealed a bunch of details about the game in their post-E3 interviews including some info about the choices players will have to make in character creation.

We know that we'll be able to pick three lifepaths - Nomad, Steet Kid and Corpo. However, CD Projekt Red didn't go into detail how exactly these choices will affect the gameplay. They only mentioned some dialogue choices and hinted at different starting locations.

In the latest interview with VG24/7, Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Pawel Sasko shed more light on this and confirmed that the game will have three different prologues depending on the choice you make in character creation.

He said that each lifepath has a different starting location and story background that is heavily connected with the origin story of Nomad, Corpo or Street Kid.

"The player in Cyberpunk 2077 can create a custom character that has one of three origin stories, that we call lifepaths: you can be Nomad, Corpo or Street Kid. Each of that Lifepaths has a different starting location and story background that are strongly connected with the origin story. Anything more I say can reveal too much from the story, so I will leave it like this," Sasko said.

This could also mean that players will get different benefits from each lifepath. For example, Corpo could start with more money, Nomad with unique gear while Steet Kid may have the highest reputation or "Cool" level.

All in all, it looks like the replay value in Cyberpunk 2077 could be pretty big. We already know that players will have multiple choices in each mission and can even finish the game without killing anyone.
