Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has recently got its latest mode called Infected so Treyarch posted a short trailer that reminds the fans of the rules to the fan favourite mode, which should be more useful to those players who have to wait more.

Of course, we're talking about Xbox One and PC, and since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has to honour Activision's exclusivity arrangements with Sony, they'll have to wait for one week. Well, six days to be exact.

In case you didn't catch the earlier iterations of Call of Duty's Infected mode, which by the way date back to CoD: Modern Warfare 3, one player assumes the role of infected, while the rest are survivors.

If you're one of the infected, your job is to infect as many more as you can before the timer goes down to zero. If you're one of the survivors, on the other hand, your job is to be the last one standing.

You also get points for each survivor you outlive, which has traditionally made for some seriously fun, explosive and not too long matches too.

The Infected mode has first appeared in Modern Warfare 3, but has found its way into Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3, Infinite Warfare and WWII, most of the time with a few tweaks to the arsenal and/or timing tweaks.

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update from yesterday has added the Alcatraz map to Blackout on PC and Xbox One, again after a week of PS4 exclusivity, and there's the Skill Division too, which will provide a clear ranking of each player from Competitor to Master Division.

It's also a great time to check out whether Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale mode is your flavour, as Blackout remains free throughout April and any progress you make will carry over, should you decide to purchase the game. If not, it's still almost 20 days left of free gaming.
