THQ Nordic have announced that the worst play on words in the history of word plays, maybe ever will be released on 03 July 2018. This game is known to the wider audience as as Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-Tered, and it has a new trailer.

Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-tered will be released simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Depending on your platform's configuration, you may be able to play the remaster in 4K resolution at 60 FPS.

That's not the juicy part though. If you happen to own the original Red Faction Guerilla, you will receive the remaster for free. It will pop up in your Steam library and you will be able to download the game in order to murder every piece of construction work you lay your eyes upon.

Red Faction Guerilla Remustard will feature fully reworked graphics, with heavily reworked textures and adding certain features such as specular maps. Shadow Rendering, lighting, shaders and post-processing will all be reworked and upgraded as well.

As far as the graphics quality is concerned, Red Faction Guerilla Remonstered will have native 4K support on PC. Xbox One players will have to settle for 900p at 60 FPS while Xbox One X owners will be able to run it at 1800p with 60 FPS or 4K at 30 FPS. PlayStation 4 owners will be able to run the game at 1080p with 60 FPS, PS4 Pro will have 1500p at 60 FPS or 4K at 30 FPS.

This game is set 50 years in the future since the original Red Faction and you will assume the role of Alec Mason, referred to as "Space Asshole" in the trailer who will be fighting in order to liberate the Red Planet's inhabitants from the oppressive western spies Earth Defense Force.

Red Faction Guerilla Re-Mars-tered's release date will somewhat ironically be released right next to USA's Independence day. Meanwhile the original red country, Russia, celebrates its equivalent of the Independence Day on 12 June 2018.
