Black Desert Online

Black Desert Online's original MIDI soundtrack is about to be replaced with orchestrated music. The new score has been re-arranged by Hui Man Ryu. A system that allows players to listen to the original soundtrack will be available as well.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon

Nintendo Direct revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon games. A Pokemon-themed Nintendo 2DS XL system has also been shown. The new design is set launch this 17 November.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon will launch in October on Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC. A new trailer has been shared, detailing the game's story. In-game environments can be used as a weapon.

The 5 people who don't already own Skyrim on PC have the opportunity to try out the game's Special Edition over the weekend for free. The SE version of the game will also be available at half the price during the free weekend.

Pokemon GO will get trading and trainer battles, eventually

The CEO of the Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara recently spoke to Bloomberg about planned and upcoming features for Pokemon GO. Niantic has a very long way to go before the game fulfills its full potential, Pokemon trading and trainer battles included.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be free today, and you get to keep it

Torn Banner Studios is still coming up with ways to revitalise Mirage: Arcane Warfare's dwindling player numbers. The game will be free to download today, and you get to keep it too. Anyone who misses out can later get the title at a reduced price.

Destiny 2 to launch at midnight

Destiny 2 will become available worldwide at 12 am on 06 September. PC users will be able to get their hands on the game come 24 October. The game has had "the biggest Beta in Bungie and Activision Publishing history".

UbiSoft teams up with Monster Energy for Assassin's Creed Origins ARG

Master Chief likes to relax with some refreshing Mountain Dew and Doritos when his trigger finger gets all cramped from a hard day at the office, and Assassin's Creed Origins will have Bayek unwinding after a long trek through the desert with rejuvenating baths in pools of ancient Egyptian Monster Energy.

Biomutant showcased in 25 minute video

A lengthy Biomutant gameplay video, showcasing some 25 initial minutes of the game has courteously been provided to IGN by THQ Nordic. The game looks to be firmly in console territory in terms of design, with gameplay similar to Breath of the Wild.

Bethesda's Creation Club plants unpurchased mods on your hard drive

Making a paid mod system work for Skyrim and Fallout 4 wasn't going to be easy. Bethesda has apparently called for someone to hold their beer while they put some paid mod files on players hard drives, whether they purchased/unlocked them or not.

Final Fantasy XV and Assassin's Creed

Final Fantasy XV got a free update in collaboration with Assassin's Creed. Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival will be available until 31 January 2018. In addition to the Assassin’s Festival, the latest update also brought some fresh features.

The Division update 1.8 "Resistance"

Resistance will roll out sometime in autumn. Along with some updates for the Underground DLC, Resistance will also bring a new area and two new game modes. The new social hub will be called Camp Clinton.

Final Fantasy XIV Online's fourth anniversary

Final Fantasy XIV Online is celebrating its fourth anniversary. In celebration, the Final Fantasy XIV Online development team will host a 14-hour livestream, which will go on from 01 to 02 September. Koji Fox from the Final Fantasy XIV Online localization team will host a panel at Pax West on 02 September.

EA vice president says Andromeda was unfairly criticised

Speaking to GamesReactor EA's Executive Vice President Patrick Söderlund said that Mass Effect could return once the miasma surrounding the latest series entry dies down. He also thinks that Andromeda was judged unfairly by fans.

BioMutant - a kung fu fable

Thq Nordic and Experiment 101 are working on a post-apocalyptic kung fu fable. The game will let you customize your character and your weapons by re-coding your genetic structure. Biomutant will launch sometime next year.

Path of Exile is launching in China today

Path of Exile is arriving on Xbox One 24 August 2017, but perhaps more importantly the game has launched in China today. The launch has taken two years to set up, and the Chinese open beta will have all of the content from the Western version with some inevitable changes.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition has just been announced by Square Enix. The PC version will feature bonus content from the console versions originally available through the Season Pass and free updates. GameWorks technology is employed to bring life to the in-game world.

Andromeda is now complete and still broken

EA and what's left of BioWare are done with trying to repair Mass Effect: Andromeda's singleplayer. During the weekend the publisher has announced that there will be no further patches or updates to the game's singleplayer, but multiplayer will remain on life support.

Monster Hunter: World new area revealed

Capcom just released a new trailer for their Wildspire Waste area of Monster Hunter: World. The area is described as a desert, peppered with swamplands. Monster Hunter: World will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2018. The PC version will follow at a later date.

Conan Exiles launching on Xbox One - US release has no genitals

Conan Exiles is arriving on Xbox Game Preview today. The Frozen North expansion will be included in the Xbox One launch and will be added to the PC version of the game at the same time. The US version will not feature the game's trademark intimate parts.
