Listen, if you can't take a joke, you'd best brace yourself for what you're about to read, because Xbox UK's jab at all the Spider-Man: Remastered might hurt.
For starters - we at AltChar have all sorts of devices and preferences and while we entirely enjoy getting into friendly jab-fests over what's the best way to play, we have one serious rule - you better be funny.
It may not be the best method out there, but it certainly helps steer clear of meaningless discussions that increasingly sound like, "yo dude, whaddaya think what's better - physics or mayonnaise?". The way I see it, as long as there are stupid questions - there will be stupid answers.
Xbox UK's jab at Sony and Spider-Man certainly fits the bill, and personally, it doesn't sound one bit malicious, in spite of what we anticipate PlayStation 5 fanboys will claim.
If you're not getting it, here's the skinny - Spider-Man: Remastered isn't part of the free upgrade from the PS4 version of Spider-Man: Morales, to the PlayStation 5 one. You either fork out another $20 for the Remastered part of the package, or buy the PS5 Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Granted, if we were to deconstruct the joke to the no-longer-funny parts, of course there's a message behind the joke. More precisely, there's a message in the tweet above it, but we'll leave the serious stuff to the armies of fanboys that are surely about to storm this tweet.
Given that nobody ever died of laughter (although I do die laughing occasionally), we can't get enough of humour and friendly jabs like this. Heck, we'll get both consoles, just keep it up, guys.
