PlayStation Plus began to exist as the answer to the phenomenal Xbox subscription, Game Pass, that made this console even more popular with the players, exactly because of its subscription. However, Sony never managed to match the popularity of Microsoft's Game Pass with their PlayStation Plus, but it seems things are improving, especially lately when Sony decided to treat their customers with some really popular titles.
In this month, Lies of P, an amazing Souls-like, was given away to all PlayStation Plus customers, and it seems Sony won't stop at that. They announced the list of games that will hit the PlayStation Plus Extra subscription, and among many amazing titles, three are standing out: Marvel's Spider-Man, Mortal Kombat 1, and Sword of the Sea as the day-one release.
Of course, those are not the only titles Sony is treating their subscribers with because there are some really good games we'll be able to play once the new addition hits PlayStation Plus on August 19, 2025.
