It’s Free Play Days once again on Xbox, giving you a chance to try out a number of diverse and well-received titles this weekend. Starting Thursday, November 27, and running all the way through Sunday, November 30, five games will be available with some needing an Xbox Game Pass membership and the others being available for free to all Xbox users.
This week’s selection is a blend of management sims, action RPG adventures, and weird internet era nostalgia. Two of the games will need a Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or Essential subscription to play, while three are available for every Xbox member to try out with no subscription necessary.

The First Berserker: Khazan
The First Berserker: Khazan puts players in the boots of Khazan, a legendary general of the Pell Los Empire, as they journey across the land of Arad. The game is available at a 30 percent discount from November 20 through December 3 to players looking to continue their story after Free Play Days ends.
Hammerwatch 2
Hammerwatch 2 builds upon the dungeon crawling foundation of the original with a bigger world to explore, pixel-art environments, and a large variety of quests and enemy types.
The sequel lets players take up the mantle of King Roland’s resistance, with the ability to explore towns and overworld regions and fight through massive waves of monsters. The game is heavily discounted during the event and is a potential pick-up for fans of the ARPG genre.

Hypnospace Outlaw
In Hypnospace Outlaw, players travel through a ’90s internet simulation where you police a surreal online world, hunt down rule-breakers as you navigate bizarre websites, vanquish adware and download dubious apps. If you want to buy it after the event, it is currently 70 % off.
Let’s Build a Zoo
In this game, you design your exhibits, manage visitors, breed animals and react to chaotic circumstances. One of the game’s more bizarre systems is DNA splicing, allowing you to create hybrid species with thousands of unique combinations. Discounts of up to 65 % apply to the base game and DLC packs.
Biped 2
Biped 2 expands on the original’s clever levels with new challenges, larger movesets and tighter platforming tuned for co-op coordination. It also includes Smart Delivery and is optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
How to start playing
Titles are available for claim on Free Play Days starting directly on the official Xbox website via the game's respective page, where the Microsoft Store will offer the option to install the title.
From within the console, the Free Play Days collection can be found in the Subscriptions section of the Xbox Store by scrolling down.
Keep your progress
Any progress, achievements, and Gamerscore earned during the event will carry over if any of the titles are purchased by the player. Discounts are dependent on the game and region, so it's best to check the Microsoft Store for specific regional pricing.
