Spellcasters Chronicles’ first Closed Beta Weekend has officially launched by Quantic Dream to let the players in the studio’s first foray in multiplayer team-based game. Available to the Europe and North American Steam players from 4 December 15:00 UTC until 8 December 09:00 UTC, the earliest access to the game’s developing combat systems are for the ones that have registered and received an invitation for the initial testing period.
Expanding on the limited demo released during TwitchCon San Diego in the earlier part of the year, the Beta provides a more of a look at the strategic depth of the game is based on.
The playable six Spellcasters, the Mausoleum arena and the first iteration of the deck-building game mechanic included in the test as it contributes on the building blocks of the spell-slinging experience leading up to Early Access.
Six Spellcasters and a First Glimpse at Deck-Building
Spellcasters Chronicles will feature the interplay of hero-centric combat and a dynamic deck-building system.
Spellcasters are defined by their archetypes: the methods in which a player will think and play the game will be different between a Spellcaster focused on lane control, one that relies on pressure, one that excels at defense or one that scales into the late game.
The Closed Beta Features:

During this test phase, players can experiment with:
