Xbox gamers will have a lot to do this weekend thanks to another Free Play Days event. There are a few games to choose from this time around and should appeal to a variety of gamers.
The titles on offer this week for Free Play Days are Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, FBC: Firebreak, and Black Desert. Some of the titles will need an Xbox Game Pass membership to play, but others are completely free for anyone with an Xbox.
The Free Play Days games will be available starting on March 5 and will be playable through the weekend. Players will have a few days to download the titles before their trial expires.
Free Play Days With Game Pass Membership
Two titles featured in this month’s Free Play Days are available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers. One of those games is Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which lets players race through exciting arcade tracks on land, sea, air, and even space.
With 23 playable characters from the Sonic franchise, players will be able to customise their rides and load them up with gadgets that give racers an edge.
The other Game Pass option is Black Desert, a sprawling fantasy MMORPG. This title is also celebrating its cross-play anniversary this weekend, which marks six years since launch.
Free Trials Available for All Xbox Players
The other two games on offer this month are available to anyone on Xbox, Game Pass subscribers included. FBC: Firebreak puts players inside a secret federal agency as they play as part of Firebreak, an organisation hoping to restore order to the agency while fending off paranormal occurrences threatening the agents inside.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is also available to try for free from March 5 from 10 AM PT until March 9 at 10 AM PT. Players can see what this latest installment of the shooter franchise has to offer. If players choose to purchase either game after the Free Play Day trials end, any achievements or Gamerscore earned will carry forward.
