Introduced with the Soft Power battle pass, the Cultural Support Team operators are still a menace in Caliber.

Many players in the Caliber community awaited the CST collection to become purchasable with credits rather eagerly and if you ever wondered why, it is because they are overpowered.

This is not just the opinion of one player or a small group - everyone who tried these operators agrees they are overturned and are now wreaking havoc on the meta.

1C didn't nerf them yet but it is almost certain there will be changes in the future patches. Until then, here is what makes each of them tick and why they are overpowered.

Sly, the Assault

Assaults are often flanking on their own and if one of them has the ability to heal, it makes their autonomy all that much stronger. Sly can go from a sliver of health to full in the blink of an eye by simply using her ability on a topped-off enemy. She also copies their maximum health if they are full so if she uses the ability on a chunky support, she will inherit the high HP stat.

The second best tool an assault can have is invisibility and if the aforementioned healing didn't seem OP enough for you, it also grants her invisibility.

Her weapons are not the best in class - Acai does better than her shotgun and numerous assaults have better weapons than her assault rifle. However, no one else has flashbangs that go off on impact, giving her yet another major advantage over every other operator in the game.

Fortress, the Support

This operator excels thanks to having the best automatic weapon, next to Koszmar. She can also fit it with a 100-round magazine, unlike Koszmar.

Besides the easy mode shooting, Fortress can drop ammo for allies but if they use the refill, they will also get roughly one magazine or clip worth of incendiary ammo, which will deal additional damage over time and prevent healing.

In summary, Fortress gets the easiest gunplay in the game but even if that is not enough to make her shoot the side of a barn, she is still extremely useful in a passive way due to teammates making the enemies into shishkebabs.

Bones, the Medic

Besides having one of the best primary weapons in the entire Medic class, Bones has unlimited revives.

All she needs to do is send her robo dog to a downed ally and they will be revived. To make it worse for the enemy team, the dog is not her ability - it is a gadget that can be reused an infinite number of times even if it's destroyed. Even worse yet, her ability is to command the dog to move to a different ally and costs zero stamina, meaning she is the only character in the game that doesn't use stamina on anything other than spring.

Avalanche, the Marksman

Using the M14 EBR at long range may not be the best play but it is extremely lethal at mid and close range, making it one of the most desirable weapons in Caliber.

Her sidearm is also highly desirable because it shoots through light cover by default and if you use Sly's passive, it will have enough reserves to kill any Support hiding behind their shield multiple times over.

If all else fails, use the mortar, which can one-shot groups of enemies on the other side of the map. The aiming takes some getting used to but it is an incredibly potent gadget for flushing people out of cover and getting random kills.

With everything else going well for her, one would bet Avalanche's ability is not that good. One would be wrong. Providing a flat 20 per cent bonus to movement speed of all teammates as well as Stun and Marked immunity makes this one of the best things to counter the likes of Bourbon, Eima and Corsair.
