It is safe to say that Blizzard Entertainment's latest release did not go well with the fans. Warcraft III: Reforged has dropped to 0.70 user score on Metacritic, making it one of the worst-rated games on the website.
Warcraft III: Reforged was highly-anticipated by many fans but it turns out the game is far from the version that Blizzard were showcasing multiple times before the official release. Many players noticed that a lot of promised features are missing from the game and also, there are some other, technical issues that are preventing players from enjoying the remake of the iconic strategy.
On top of this, Blizzard reportedly banned Warcraft III forum users for helping people get refunds so it is safe to say that the release has not gone smoothly at all.
All these issues, of course, reflected onto Warcraft III: Reforged scores on Metacritic. The user score is abysmally low at the moment. Warcraft III: reforged sits at 0.70 at the time of writing, which is the lowest score on the website. As you can see here , Blizzard's title sits behind Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 2: The Pact and NBA2K20, titles that also got review bombed by the fans.
Warcraft III: Reforged has 9603 ratings at the moment - 9022 negative, 107 mixed and 474 positive. Whether Metacritic start removing the negative reviews and the score changes in the next couple of days it remains to be seen but as things stand, the game is at the very bottom of the Metacritic list.
Blizzard have been pretty much completely silent since the release which is even more frustrating to the disappointed fans. Hopefully, we'll get an official statement in the upcoming days.
