According to the latest reports from players over at Warcraft forums, Blizzard are attempting to put an end to the discontent and user fund help requests by banning players on the official Warcraft III forums.
Blizzard's highly anticipated title Warcraft 3: reforged officially launched yesterday and it is safe to say that many players are disappointed with the lack of features, visual downgrade and technical issues . Shortly after the game went live, over at official Warcraft 3 forums, players stared to ask about ways to refund the game, since the whole process is not quite simple it seems.
Some forum users tried to help those who are asking for refunds but according to several reports over at Reddit , these actions will get you banned from the official Warcraft 3 forum. User who goes by the name of HiddenPants reports that his main account has been banned for two weeks for helping other people get a refund.
"So for helping people finding refund option makes you get a 2 week ban, wow talk about they know they have made a bad game and need to silence people. Main account is banned two weeks," HiddenPants wrote in the post .
Other users report that Blizzard declined to refund the game with some pretty bizarre explanations. Warcraft 3 forum user Mirror writes that Blizzard responded with "Too much playtime to refund" but apparently, Mirror is yet to play Warcraft 3: Reforged since "the game won't even load" .
At the time of writing, the official forum is flooded with threads titles such as "Blizzard are denying refunds" and "Refund before 48 hours or it is too late".
Blizzard are yet to respond to the backlash but given that the situation is really messy at the moment, an official statement or an apology certainly would not hurt. Or would it?
