Rogueside came up with a twofold announcement, one that will sadden the players who are anticipating Shootas, Blood & Teef and one that will make them happy.
Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef release date has been postponed from summer to autumn release window. Technically, there was no release date yet but the change in the release windows means around four months of delay.
"This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but will be in the best interest for the quality of the game. By taking on the Warhammer IP, we’ve also taken on the responsibility to deliver the best game we possibly can that both Rogueside and Games Workshop can be proud of. And with these couple of extra months we will be able to put more love and passion into the project, and take it to the level we want it to be.
We’re looking forward to seeing you on Luteus Alpha in Fall 2022!" ~Rogueside
While the wording might sound strange, it probably translates to the devs needing more time to polish the game and work out the kinks in order to avoid shipping a half-finished mess.
Rogueside also announced they are partnering with ININ Games, who will help the team out with the physical release on consoles. Pre-orders for these physical editions will be available at some point in the near future, for all the consoles involved - PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Certain exclusive editions with collectable will be available at Strictly Limited Games and Gamesrocket.
