Riot have started dropping hints and teasers for the new Valorant agent, Iso, but when should we expect him to join the team?
The duelist who hails from China is the 24th agent to join the team and the 7th duelist to be added to the game. This will all take place on October 31.
After the agent's first reveal, many players were quick to claim that he is more than overpowered. These claims were made due to the amount of shielding abilities Iso has.
Iso's E ability, Double Tap, gives him a shield that will protect him from any projectile that comes toward him (Including Chamber and Raze's ultimate) and his C ability, Contingency, is a bulletproof Harbor wall that ensures safe entry.
In his current state, his popularity will most probably spike higher than Jett's and Reyna's, making him the new go-to instalock agent.
While his ultimate might seem a little overpowered, being able to isolate himself and an enemy for a battle to the death does not seem that strong since he himself will be able to die during his ultimate.
We hope that a slight adjustment to his E and C abilities gets implemented before his launch because nobody wants another situation of an overpowered agent dominating the game (we're looking at you Chamber and Raze).
Iso will launch with a new battlepass and a slight rank reset since it will be the start of a new act, the final act of episode 7.
