Xbox Game Studios are set to release a couple of heavy hitters in 2023, and one of them is the highly anticipated racing sim Forza Motorsport. Set for release sometime in Spring 2023, Forza Motorsport will headline the next year for Xbox, along with Bethesda's mammoth Starfield and first-person shooter Redfall.
In the most recent Forza Monthly live stream, Turn 10 Studios' Creative Director Chris Esaki and GM Dan Greenawalt revealed a couple of new details about the game and where exactly the studio is currently with the whole development process.
The duo said Forza Motorsport is currently in full production, aiming to enter the final phase of development around the new year. During the final phase of development, the team will be focusing on polishing the game, to provide the most optimised and bug-free experience when Forza Motorsport launches.
We have to say that Esaki and Greenawalt sounded pretty excited to show more footage to the players and share news about all the new features.
They said that the team will start talking more about Forza Motorsport in a couple of months, calling 2023, the year of Forza Motorsport.
Additionally, Turn 10 worked hard to test over 100 vehicles in Forza Motorsport to make them properly balanced for multiplayer.
Other than that, we didn't get any other juicy details about the game as Turn 10 are keeping those under wraps for later.
Forza Motorsport is coming in Spring 2023 to PC and Xbox Series X|S via Game Pass. It will be the first true next-gen game by Xbox.
