Forza Motorsport delivered in several aspects as we mentioned in our review but at the same time, we were unimpressed with the lack of content and inconsistent AI.
After the game's launch, players were quite critical of Forza Motorsport's AI, race regulations and unique car progression among other things. Luckily, these three features are exactly what Turn 10 Studios are looking to improve in future updates.
In their latest community update blog post, Turn 10 said that they've heard the criticism and feedback from the players and will be addressing some of it as they move forward.
For the car progression system, Turn 10 are currently exploring various changes. They say their goal is to "retain what is working for those that enjoy it, while resolving the issues many of our most dedicated players have with the system."
This update will release sometime in 2024 but Turn 10 made it clear that it will take some time to look at the options, create new code and test the changes, so don't expect imminent updates.
As for the Race Regulations, the devs acknowledged that inconsistent penalties do happen and promised to work with Motorsport players to gather data from races and then make tweaks to make the regulations more reliable.
Last but not least, AI issues will also be sorted out as Turn 10 plans to address "overly aggressive AI, while also getting a cleaner race start into turn 1 where many of the issues above most severely manifest and impact players."
