Turn 10 Studios have confirmed that Hockenheim will be the next track in Forza Motorsport. The update is scheduled for December 12, 2023 and will also bring other new content and improvements.

Forza Motorsport is adding another big content update just weeks after introducing the first post-launch track Yas Marina. In the December update, Turn 10 Studios will drop the legendary Hockenheim, which will be available in three layouts - Full, National and Short. 

Hockenheim track will be part of the free Update 3, which also brings many other improvements and content. Some of the highlights include the fix to the ray-tracing bug which made the reflections look blurry while the PC performance has also been improved.

Update 3 is scheduled to launch on December 12, 2023, on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

GAME FIXES

General [All Platforms] 

  • Fixes to improve overall game stability and performance across all platforms.
  • Fixed long load times when player attempts to save a custom upgrade or tuning setup.
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed parts to be edited after removing a saved tune. 
  • Fixed issue in the Livery Editor where overwriting a locked Vinyl group gives the"Failed to Save ... " message then saves two copies of newly created content.
  • Saved Rivals Replays now includes weather information.. 
  • Fixed issue in Free Play where players would always begin in the middle of the pack(12th) despite setting Grid Ordering to Random.
  • Fixed issue in Free Play where Drivatars would always choose the same car as the player.
  • Fixes to ray-traced rendering features for ambient occlusion and mirror reflections that caused flickering and strobing effects on the car and road.

Multiplayer [All Platforms] 

  • Fixed an issue causing liveries to sometimes not be visible to players in multiplayer races.
  • Fixed an issue with large parties in Featured Multiplayer causing players to get into an infinite loading screen.

  • 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS: Fixed issue where car brake calliper is seen clipping into multiple wheel rims.

PC

  • Fixed various random crashes in multiplayer races specifically on PCs with AMD GPUs.
  • DLSS will now properly turn on and off in video settings.
  • Stability and performance are improved on lower-spec PCs.
  • Improved consistency of framerate while racing.
  • Fixed the video quality presets always defaulting to native window resolution. 
  • Improved detection of CPUs on PC to set the default quality preset. 
  • Reduced the occurrence of a bug where the track or other objects becomes invisible while racing.
