Bloober Team had a pretty run with The Medium on PC and XSX so far and they have now announced then the PlayStation 5 fans can expect the game to arrive to their system.
PlayStation 5 owners can look forward to playing The Medium on September 3, 2021. In the case of Japan, the release will happen by the holiday season of 2021.
Bloober Team announced these to be the game's arrival dates on Sony's platform, roughly seven to 11 months after release on PC and XSX, depending on the region. Furthermore, The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition will be available in some regions, bringing along a steelbook, soundtrack and a 32-page hardcover artbook.
The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game that is pushing with the dual-reality gameplay concept. Titanfall 2 is probably the most famous example of this as the Effect and Cause mission captured the hearts of those who played it. Fans wanted to see more of it in future games but for some reason, dual-reality is still fairly rare to find.
Anyway, the players will assume the role of Marianna, a psychic who can explore the real and spirit world, either simultaneously or alternatively as she attempts to uncover a dark mystery. Puzzles presented to the characters can only be solved by a medium apparently and this is where she comes in.
