PlayStation insider who accurately revealed the entire State of Play lineup hints that The Last of Us Remake could launch in September on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Rumours regarding the potential The Last of Us Remake have been floating around the social media and gaming forums for many many months but Naughty Dog and Sony are staying silent on the matter and did not yet officially reveal the game.
However, it seems that the announcement might not be that far off. According to the PlayStation leaker insider_wtf , who accurately revealed the entire State of Play and Hideo Kojima's new game Overdose, The Last of Us Remake could be launching later this year in September. The laker simply tweeted "Part 1 - 02.09.2022" suggesting that The Last Of Us Part 1 is launching on September 2.
Interestingly, the insider also seems to hint that the game would release on day one on PC too, along with the PlayStation 5 launch.
As with all leaks and rumours, we suggest you take this information with a huge grain of salt, until Sony or Naughty Dog officially announce the remake. Yes, we have mentioned that the leaker is pretty reliable so far but until official, everything is just fun speculation and nothing more.
Though we have to say that it's exciting times for The Last of Us fans who have been waiting to hear more regarding the rumoured remake. It's also good news for PC players who will get to experience one of the best narrative-driven stories from the PlayStation platform.
