The Game Awards 2025 is just around the corner. As always, this promises to be one of the most special nights of the year for gamers around the world, with a chance to learn about new announcements, watch first looks at upcoming exclusives, and celebrate the best games of the year.
The event attracts millions of viewers each December, and this year is no exception, with the ceremony featuring a number of publishers expected to make big reveals or even go on to deliver some of their own world premieres.
As the show will be aired at the same time all around the world, that means a lot of players will be tuning in at night or very early in the morning.

What to expect
Several games have been revealed as being part of The Game Awards 2025, with Housemarque’s Saros, 007: First Light, and a new Tomb Raider entry all teased directly by their publishers themselves.
Insiders have also given potential reveals as Persona 6, a new Sonic game, and a new Mega Man. Rumours of a new God of War have also resurfaced, and there’s even chatter that Larian Studios may announce a new Divinity spin-off title.
Other contenders include a brief tease of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 and possibly new look at Microsoft’s Fable.
