After being leaked earlier today The Division 2's latest DLC - Warlords of New York has now officially been announced.
Warlords of New York is a new narrative expansion to The Division franchise. The DLC will focus on the original game's setting - New York - which is under an all-new threat. With a devastating biochemical attack looming overhead, a former Division Agent turned Rogue, has taken command of Lower Manhattan and is manipulating the factions of New York with the help of the Rogue Agents.
Keener now has his hands on a new strain of the inglorious virus that maimed the world and he intends to break society's bonds with the establishment.
The latest expansion to The Division 2 will expand the online open world and action RPG experience of the franchise, introduce a new story to the post-pandemic New York and revamp the progression system. The DLC will also bring an extended endgame.
Warlords of New York will require The Division 2 base game to be accessed, which is included in the Warlords of New York Edition and Ultimate Edition. Ownership over the DLC will allow the players to create a level 30 character and jump head-first into the hunt.

To get to Keener, players will have to fight through hordes of his Rogue Agents. The Agents were once trained by The Division but left the group due to insurmountable differences of opinion. Now, they have been united under Keener's banner.
New York has been transformed
Warlords of New York DLC is set during late summer in the Open World of Lower Manhattan. This is a brand-new area in the franchise, and it consists of four playable zones:
- Two Bridges
- Civic Center
- Battery Park
- Financial District
The Division 2: Warlords of New York will bring innovations to The Division 2' core experience through overhauls of the RPG, Dark Zone and Endgame mechanics.
