Pillow Castle Games' forced-perspective puzzle game, Superliminal, is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The addition of the new platforms also brought about some bonus content that includes achievements, hidden rooms, and other secrets.

Superliminal is a single-player first-person puzzle game that uses perception as a mechanic. Players wake up in a surprisingly lucid dream. From there they are asked to go through a series of puzzles.

Solving these puzzles relies solely on the player's perspective. Superliminal was inspired by forced perspective and its puzzles use the ambiguity of depth.

By using depth, this first-person puzzle game allows its players to explore a surreal world by manipulating objects in physical space according to their perspective and make their perception reality.

Superliminal is currently on sale for 20 per cent of on Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 Japan and goes for $19.99 USD. The sale will end on July 14.

Superliminal launched in November 2019 and was exclusively available on the Epic Games Store . The title debuted at Sense of Wonder Night at Tokyo Game Show in September 2013. The game will also be available for PC via Steam in November 2020.

Some of the devs' inspiration includes Paprika, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Inception. The game was previously known as 'Museum of Simulation Technology'.
