Nintendo's latest advertisement for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may be short but it sure doesn't lack content, because already by the third second it shows the Stage Builder, which is expected to be announced by Nintendo pretty soon.
It's not exactly a high-fidelity proof, as the image of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's menu is pretty blurry, but for fans of the game, it's sharp enough to be one thing and one thing only. It's right in the beginning by the way - it ends on the third second.
Now, it's well worth noting that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Stage Builder has already been dug up by data miners and besides - Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii U and Wii, respectively, have all had the Stage Builder.
Nintendo is rumoured to be planning a Nintendo Direct briefing for 11 April 2019, which would be a great way to make sure that Nintendo America's outgoing president gets a proper sendoff.
Naturally, this has not been officially confirmed by Nintendo, so do take this with a grain of salt. That said, the arrival of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Stage Builder seems like only a matter of time at this point, so we can only hope Nintendo surprise us tomorrow.
In fact, it's said that Nintendo will have much more in store for the briefing, including the date for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3.0 patch and previews of some of their highly anticipated titles, but we guess we'll see soon enough.
Along with the Stage Builder, data miners have also dug up the existence of yet another new mode called Home Run Contest, but that too is a bit on the hazy side. From what we've gathered, it's likely that this mode won't be in before the 3.0 version.
Nintendo
We sincerely hope Nintendo make it a good one, both for ours and Reggie's sake. Besides, what better way to make sure everyone remembers him in the best possible light than make sure everyone's ecstatic when the man exits stage left?
