The biggest gaming convention of the year, Summer Game Fest 2025, is scheduled for 2 PM PT on June 6th. Industry leaders including Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Sony, Tencent, NetEase and numerous others will have a presence, with a dozen confirmed and several in negotiations.
Geoff Keighley will host and produce it, and it will run at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles and will broadcast live through Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Steam and other platforms.
Two-hour long, it will feature, and for any interested in getting it in-person, tickets will become available in spring.
What's next?
The full gaming schedule is yet to be announced, but Keighley promised big reveals, surprises, and big game reveals.
As ever, Summer Game Fest will start a whole gaming season, starting with Day of the Devs, in which future indies in development will have a glimpse at them.
A key feature of the convention is Summer Game Fest: Play Days, happening between 7th and 9th of June. It is an in-play convention, providing gaming press and content creators with early access to new titles, with over 40 major name publishers participating.
Last year’s Summer Game Fest delivered some huge reveals, including Black Myth: Wukong, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and the long-awaited announcement of Sid Meier’s Civilization 7.
With that kind of lineup in 2024, expectations for this year’s event are through the roof. We will have more information in the coming months, but for the present, tune in for future updates in preparation for June 6th.
