Capcom's marketing department seems to have messed up and leaked a huge detail about the upcoming Street Fighter 6 showcase, roughly seven hours before it happened.
Namely, the game is going to have a showcase on April 20, 2023, at 3:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM EDT / 11:00 PM BST / 00:00 AM (midnight, April 21) CEST, which is supposed to be accompanied by a marketing campaign.
However, the ads popped up ahead of time and let the cat out of the bag.
According to the ad that leaked on Facebook, not only will the game have a demo but it will also be available immediately.
Granted, no official news is available yet but the ad banner states that you can "Download Now" instead of providing a date when the demo will become available.
On top of that, the full game is supposed to launch on June 2, 2023, meaning the demo would be available for a month and a half before the release, giving it plenty of time to hook veteran and new players alike.
Considering the new features and a direction that generally seems well-received, the additional word-of-mouth recommendations stemming from the demo could help drive the sales further.
