Street Fighter 6 is getting another showcase, free of charge, ahead of the game's full release early next month.
Capcom announced all the juicy parts about the upcoming Street Fighter 6 beta, which will run for only one weekend unfortunately but it will be available to everyone.
Street Fighter 6 open beta will run from May 19 to 21, 2023, and it will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
On top of that, crossplay will be enabled for all three platforms.
Players will be able to try out casual match, ranked match, battle hub match, open tournament, extreme battle, game centre and training when it comes to the modes.
They will also have the opportunity to test a total of eight characters through these modes:
- Ryu
- Luke
- Jamie
- Chun Li
- Kimberly
- Guile
- Ken
- Juri
Street Fighter 6 already has the free demo that is available but one of the complaints there was that no female characters were featured, which was obviously fixed with the open beta.
Considering that Capcom was highly transparent with the game so far, it is implied that the shortcomings of the game are few and far between, adding to the hype when Street Fighter 6 finally hits the shelves on June 2, 2023.
