Ukrainian YouTuber Oldboi claims that Stalker 2 will not be released in April 2022. Instead, GSC Game World will soon announce a delay to Autumn 2022.
Stalker fans have been waiting for a brand new Stalker game for many many years and the long wait should finally be over this year. GSC Game World, the development team behind the highly-anticipated title Stalker 2 revealed earlier that the game is scheduled to launch on April 28, 2022, and while that is very exciting for all hardcore fans of this survival horror, it seems that the release will be pushed to Autumn 2022.
The info is not yet official and it comes from Ukrainian YouTuber Oldboi who, in his latest video, states that Stalker 2 will not be released on April 28 and has been delayed to Autumn 2022. He adds that GSC Game World could announce the delay in the next gameplay showcase.
On top of this, the leaker also claims that there is a Stalker 2 PlayStation 5 version in the works and should be coming at the very end of 2022 or early 2023 with support for DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Once again, none of this is official. GSC Game World have not announced the rumoured delay nor the PlayStation 5 version at the time of writing so take everything with a big grain of salt.
