Offworld Industries' realistic tactical shooter Squad has introduced Canadian Armed Forces as a playable faction in the latest update. Furthermore, the update also adds two new maps, several weapons, three new vehicles and much more.
Squad, the early access tactical shooter from the developer and publisher Offworld Industries' has received a major content addition in the latest update. Squad's expansion will add the Canadian Armed Forces faction, as well as additional weapons, vehicles, and more.
Canadian Armed Forces faction began life as a community mod but was later picked up by the Offworld Industries team to become the first full expansion available as a free update for all Squad owners.
Offworld Industries Director of Customer Experience, Dustin Ross, said that the team immediately recognized the quality of the mod and it was a no-brainer to support the creators so they can continue to create similar content. "We knew the moment we saw Canadian Armed Forces that it was going to be something special. It was only natural for us to reach out and give them the support they needed to continue creating quality work," Ross said.
