To be fair, Spidey's success was widely expected but it seems to have overshot analysts' by a fair margin. Even though most of them guaranteed Spider-Man a spot in top 10 games of 2018, most of them placed it behind God of War in the pecking order, which has since turned out to be false.

Third and fourth spot saw Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and NBA 2K19 exchange places, with Crash climbing up one spot compared to the . Activision have every reason to be ecstatic over Crash's performance, having notched up winning weeks on the trot after it launched and seemingly becoming a mainstay among the UK's top ten.
The Elder Scrolls Online's discount-induced popularity has died down and it dropped out of the top 10, along with Lego The Incredibles. They were replaced by PUBG and Sonic Mania Plus, which came in at number 9 and 10. Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Grand Theft Auto V and F1 2019 didn't change positions from last week.
