We're finally getting a brand new look at the upcoming Silent Hill games including the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake. Konami officially confirmed that a new Silent Hill Transmission is coming on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 4 PM PDT / 00:00 BST.
The event will be livestreamed on Silent Hill YouTube channel which you can check here. Konami say they will share game updates, a deeper look at the upcoming film and some new merch.
Some of the games we expect to see at the live stream include previously announced Silent Hill Townfall, Silent Hill F and obviously the most exciting one - Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Fans are surely hopeful that this event will feature a much better reveal of Silent Hill 2 Remake, which failed to impress with its most recent trailer which aired in January.
Personally, I'm very excited to see more of other announced projects like Silent Hill F and Townfall, which are brand-new games that seem to be flying under the radar as Silent Hill 2 Remake is taking the spotlight.
Konami's announcement of Silent Hill Transmission probably means we won't be getting the rumoured PlayStation State of Play this week. I fully expected to see Silent Hill games at the PlayStation show but chances are that Sony pushed this event to June so Konami decided to have their own event where they can focus in-depth on the iconic horror franchise.
