Xbox Series X/S owners will get to enjoy Samurai Shodown in the upgraded version and if they had the game before, they won't need to pay again.

Samurai Shodown Special Edition is now available on Xbox Series X/S and even the physical edition should be on the shelves of retailers across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Oceania, Australia and New Zeland. It appears North and South Poles are fresh out of luck so penguins and polar bears will just have to deal with it.

The rest of the Earth can either try their luck at obtaining the physical copy or go for the digital version which can be found on Microsoft store. In regards to performance, Samurai Shodown SE boasts smooth 120 FPS while the eye candy part may not be as noticeable. Then again, in a game where every frame matters, this upgrade alone is worth it.

Owners of the Xbox One version can make use of Smart Delivery and can play the Series X/S version without paying any extra money. Furthermore, DLC will be transferrable as well so you're all set to enjoy next-gen.

In case you go for the physical edition, Season Pass 1 will be included and it contains four characters as well as a costume, along with the new character, Cham Cham.

The price tag for those who didn't grab the game yet is £49.99/€54.99 for either the physical or digital version of Samurai Shodown SE, although the digital version doesn't include the extra characters mentioned above.
