Ubisoft's Riders Republic will hit the scene soon, and the studio elected to divulge some additional information regarding the game's Year One Pass as well as the planned post-launch content.
Riders Republic is a big multiplayer outdoor sports playground where you can compete and show off your craziest tricks such as biking, skiing, snowboarding, wing-suiting, and rocket-wing-suiting across an open world. Ubisoft is wheeling out their latest sports game about being an all-around daredevil on October 28, and they've recently shared the contents of the Year One Pass, as well as a peek behind the curtain on the free seasonal updates to tide us over until then.
Those who purchase the Year One Pass will gain day-one access to the Rocket Skis and Rocket Bike exotic kits, plus 7-day early access to all other exotic kits and the upcoming brand-new BMX sports add-on.
Riders Republic - free content coming up in Year One
Grand Opening Pre-Season: Starting on day one, players will get to experience several multiplayer modes (Mass Race, Tricks Battle, Free for All and Versus). Exclusive rewards are also available for those who manage to complete the upcoming weekly challenges.
Season One: Coming up soon after Riders Republic's release, the Winter Bash update will usher in a seasonal progression, time-limited multiplayer experiences, events, and special activities - all of them offering up unlockable content and rewards. Year One Pass owners will have access to additional exotic kits with exclusive skins and content, as well as a legendary cosmetic bundle.
Season Two: The arrival of the Showdown Multiplayer Mode - a 6v6 affair set in arenas. The victorious team will be the one whose players managed to collect more gems. Year One Pass members are looking at more exotic kits, skins and content.
Season Three: The Season of BMX will introduce the BMX Sport add-on alongside dedicated BMX arenas. There's also going to be a new playground and fresh events. Year One Pass people will get an exclusive BMX career, with new sponsors, events and another cosmetic bundle.
Riders Republic's Year One Pass can be purchased separately from the main game, but if you like what you hear you can also get it by pre-ordering or buying the game's Gold or Ultimate Editions.
Riders Republic launches on October 28 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and PC (on the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store), and is included with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
