This year's Six Invitational has come to an end with Spacestation Gaming managing to terminate G2 Esports' reign. The teams will take a couple of weeks off to rest and regroup but the Ubisoft crew carries on. The recent post on Rainbow Six Siege's page brought an announcement that the second half of Pro League Season XI is set to kick off on Wednesday, 18 March 2020.
The Six Invitational already broke the news that the Rainbow Six Esports program will grow into a regionalized setup after the Pro League Season XI Finals in Sao Paulo - the event that will start on 16 May and end on 17 May 2020. There will be some tweaks to the current Pro League and beyond and here are a couple of things you can expect in the second part of the season.
Pro League map pool update
The devs will be removing Bank from the map pool rotation. Its place will be taken over by the reworked Theme Park.
The maps that will be available in Pro League for Season XI:
- Theme Park
- Clubhouse
- Kafe
- Consulate
- Border
- Coastline
- Villa
Moreover, the current automatic vetos will be removed. This means that the map that a team played during the last playday will not be automatically banned anymore.
Kali and Wamai enter Pro League
After their three-month-long grace period, Kaid and Nomad will now be added to the Pro League operator pool.
Don't forget that Rainbow Six Siege is free to play this weekend!
