Rainbow Six: Siege Operation New Blood is here, and with it comes a bunch of stuff, including new maps, operators, and more. Besides these, what's unique is that Ubisoft is currently offering a reduction in Operator prices, operator vouchers, Vouchers, Rainbow 6 Siege Marketplace and a load of other things for you to grab.
So let's take a look at these new additions and discounts in detail as Y9S2 begins with a bang. Here are the highlights:
New Operator Vouchers
- For Season 2 and Season 4 of Year 9, Premium Battle Pass holders get an Operator Voucher to unlock any operator.
- Unused vouchers at season's end will automatically unlock a random operator the player doesn't own.
- If all operators are unlocked, players will receive R6 Credits instead.
Introduction Rainbow 6 Siege Marketplace
Starting June 25th, players at clearance level 25 with Two-Factor Authentication can access the Rainbow 6 Siege Marketplace.
- This platform allows secure and anonymous trading of skins using R6 Credits.
- Players without access can play a match to verify eligibility.
- Sanctions on Ubisoft accounts or in-game behavior will affect Marketplace access.
- New features: item recommendations, price history, graphs, and other UX/UI improvements.
New Flashbang Customization Options
- Allows players to choose the visual and audio effects of being blinded by flashbangs or similar devices.
- Aimed at improving game accessibility for those with photosensitivity and tinnitus.
The New Seasonal Weapon Skin
- The Fracture Bundle includes the Shattering Point weapon and attachment skin, the Mark of Six charm, and the Duality operator card background.
- Available at season launch and purchasable throughout the season.
- Once unlocked, the skin remains in your inventory and can be applied to all available weapons.
Operator Price Reduction
- Several operators are getting price reductions this season:
- Thunderbird: 10,000 Renown or 240 R6 Credits.
- Sens: 15,000 Renown or 360 R6 Credits.
- Fenrir: 20,000 Renown or 480 R6 Credits.
Out of all these, the Marketplace looks like an interesting addition, as it will give players incentive to grind out the game even more. Besides this, if you want to try out new operators, this is the perfect chance, as quite a few of the popular ones are on discount.
