Ubisoft have officially revealed Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1 Operators. Just like the rumours suggested, the new operators are named Iana and Oryx.

After many leaks and rumours, today, we got an official reveal of two new operators that will be joining Rainbow Six Siege's character roster. As we have already reported , the two new operators are Iana and Oryx. Ubisoft confirmed that the full reveal of both Operators is scheduled to take place at Rainbow Six Siege Invitation in just two days - 15 February 2020.

Iana will be an attacking Operator while Oryx is a defender. Judging by the trailer, the leaks also accurately revealed the Operators' gadgets. Oryx can be seen rushing through walls, which will be his main gadget while Iana can control hologram like a drone. Some would say that Oryx's gadget would make more sense for an attacking team, which is a fair point but we should wait for the full reveal before jumping to conclusions.

All in all, both Operators look really interesting and we cannot wait to start smashing through walls with Oryx and bamboozling the enemy with Iana's hologram. Rainbow Six Siege Operation Void Edge should also introduce a bunch of other content, including a new map, which is yet to be unveiled.

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Void Edge release date is yet to be officially confirmed by Ubisoft but a safe bet would be March 2020.
