According to the latest rumours, Lord Tachanka is set to receive a big rework in Year 5, Season 1. His main will reportedly be new LMG and another "incendiary item".
Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 is just around the corner and Ubisoft should start revealing the new content pretty soon. Many players are eager to find out what exactly the new season will bring and thanks to the latest rumours, we might have clue what Ubisoft have in store.
The rumour comes from reputable leaker Kormora, who correctly revealed details about previous seasons, including Operation Ember Rise. Kromora claims that Year 5 Season 1 will bring map bans, which means that players will get to choose which maps they want to play and which ones to ban.
On top of this, another big addition in the new season will be the long-awaited rework for Tachanka. As you may know, Lord Tachanka is one of the worst, if not the worst operator in the game and players have been asking for some sort of rework for quite some time. Tachanka became a meme due to his ineffectiveness but by the looks of it, that could change in the near future.
The leaker claims that Tachanka's new weapon will be an LMG and "some sort of incendiary thing".
Now, we suggest you take these details with a grain of salt just like any other rumour and leak, until Ubisoft officially announce the new season. Kormora is a credible source but things can change during the development and it would not be the first time that leaked info turns out to be wrong, simply because the devs decided to tweak things in the last minute.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 release date is yet to be officially confirmed but it should arrive sometime in March 2020.
