Ubisoft dedicated quite a bit of time building this year's Halloween event for Rainbow Six Siege as we will get new cosmetics, game mode and a map to play on for two weeks.
Sugar Fright kicks off on October 27, 2020, and will last until November 10, giving players two weeks to collect as many operator cosmetics as possible. Alternatively, they can purchase these cosmetics directly for 1680 R6 Credits per operator or find them in Sugar Fright packs that cost 300 R6C or 12,500 Renown.
If paying for the cosmetics is not your thing, there are also event challenges that will award the packs and picking the featured operators in Candy War can yield the puppet stylings as well.
Speaking of the featured operators, this is the list:
- Attackers (Tricksters)
- IQ
- Zofia
- Nomad
- Capitao
- Thermite
- Defenders (Treaters)
- Frost
- Pulse
- Ela
- Castle
- Goyo
The featured mode itself is called Candy War. It is essentially Team Deathmatch but you will need to secure candy that drops from killed operators to score a point. The first team to 50 points wins. This is also the first time a Rainbow Six Siege mode will have a respawn system so it remains to be seen how well the devs executed it.
Candy War trailer is also quite funny since Frost goes all Rorschach on the enemies.
