Fixes for several issues for the Xbox One version of PUBG have been announced five days ago and the patch finally hit the live servers today. Even that was after a delay, but at least revive issues are fixed now.
PUBG's latest patch notes for Xbox One were originally teased five days ago in a reddit . The post noted the ''high priority fix list'' included the revive bug, footstep and single fire weapon audio, B and Y buttons being functional while the in-game map is activated and a few minors fixes that were low risk.
At the time of the post's writing, it was intended that the patch moves into the certification process in order to be released a little while after. A few days later, another post popped up saying the team encountered some issues with the patch that could degrade the player experience and the patch would be postponed. Considering how unoptimised the game is already, it's for the best we never got to taste the ''degraded'' version.

The updated reddit said that the team identified some issues that may, with emphasis on "may'', result in a degraded player experience. They decided to keep the patch from hitting live servers for a couple of days, which culminated with today's on the official PUBG forums.
One issue remained, marked as a ''Known Issue'' which is the B button while in Settings menu aboard the plane. If you found yourself in Settings and pressed B, you would also jump out of the plane. So much for a planned landing.

As promised before, the bugfixes were delivered for footsteps, single shots, revival glitch and the inability to cut the parachute cable. With these fixes, there are now only 99 problems left with the game but we'll take what we can get.
