PS Plus subscribers will get two games that were rather popular around their release - the action packed Nioh and zero action, maximum fright Outlast 2.
November offerings of PS Plus are the polar opposites of each other. Nioh is an action RPG along the lines of Devil May Cry series where the player takes control of the protagonist and proceeds to hack and slash their way through the storyline while fleshing out their skills. Meanwhile, Outlast 2 doesn't have combat at all, except for the scripted sequences.
Both games are just over two years old but they both received generally favourable reviews, meaning they should prove to be fine additions to the libraries of any subscribers who didn't purchase them before. Outlast reviews were roughly in 8/10 range while those of Nioh were much closer to the perfect score.
It could be a great time to start playing Nioh in particular since the sequel, Nioh 2, recently got a release date. The game will come to PlayStation 4 on 13 March 2019, meaning there are just over four months until release, from the time of writing.
The timing is great for both the game and the players as the action RPG will release about one month ahead of Cyberpunk 2077 so it will dodge the clash of release dates with another big title while also providing RPG fans with another title to enjoy.
PS Plus subscribers can claim these two games starting on 5 November 2019 and they will have just under a mont to do so, until 3 December 2019.
