Niantic didn't announce any particular Halloween event for Pokemon Go this year just yet but the October Community Day will have this theme at least.
Litwick Community Day will happen on October 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM local time and last for three hours.
Just like always, capturing Litwick and evolving it during the Community Day or up to five hours after it wraps up will yield a unique Chandelure that knows the Charged Attack Poltergeist.
Charged Attack Poltergeist features 140 power in all the activities - there is no difference between Trainer Battles, Gyms or Raids for this one.
Additionally, Lampent will appear in Four-Star Raids. Completing the raid will cause Litwick to start appearing in a 300-metre radius of the gym, increasing your chance to find a Shiny one.
Active bonuses for Litwick Community Day include:
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catching Pokémon
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- .Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
- Trades made will require 50% less Stardust
Trade bonuses last for up to five hours after the event, ending on 10:00 PM local time.
