Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of Overwatch 2, has revealed its future plans for the game.
Season 8 is launching soon, introducing a new hero to Overwatch 2, but Blizzard's vision extends beyond that.
Also, they revealed some new heroes for 2024. Blizzard will be expanding Overwatch 2's hero roster in 2024. In Season 10, they will introduce the Damage hero Venture. Season 12 will bring the Support hero Space Ranger.
New PvP Game Mode - Clash

- Clash will feature maps with five points spread in a row.
- Matches commence with teams vying for control of the central point.
- The winning team advances the other by one point, and this pattern continues.

Themed Seasons
- Blizzard promises more thematic consistency in future seasons.
- Four seasons in the coming year will be centered around specific themes: eldritch horror, Egyptian mythology, witches, and a "mirror universe" where heroes and villains exchange roles.
- Themed seasons will provide players with engaging content throughout the year.
